NIGHT OF 1000 STEVIES – the largest and most beloved STEVIE NICKS fan event in the world – returns to New Orleans this Fall for its fourth edition. Like the marathon NOTS NYC editions that birthed it, this Enchanted evening is produced by show founders CHI CHI VALENTI and JOHNNY DYNELL and THE JACKIE FACTORY.

Neither a contest nor a karaoke show, 1000 STEVIES is the ultimate Stevie Nicks celebration – a riot of shawls, lace, baby’s breath, twirling, tambourines and great performance. The show will feature a wide range of interpretations of the goddess Nicks and her music by local performers and beloved veterans of the NYC shows. The bill is now full, with Mississippi based show stars “Swamp Stevie” – D.A. SIMS, RAIN JAUDON and members of RHYTHM AND RAIN and NOTS NYC songbird DEANNA LARSON (Cheyenne, Wyoming) in her NOLA debut. TSARINA MAGDALENA HELLFIRE & STANLEY ROY of LE VAMPYRE CABARET (at the Allways Lounge) return for their signature Dark Stevie as October dawns.

The five NOTS NOLA debuts this year include standouts from the rich talent pool of the city and two 1000 STEVIES show veterans. VANESSA CARR is a native New Orleans Creole musician, drag performer, tireless advocate for the LGBT community and a former MISS NEW ORLEANS PRIDE. Badass showgirl PINKY DEVILLE is a British performer and producer based in New Orleans, the only burlesque performer in the world to have sued the Trump administration for her right to twirl tassels in the US. Silk artist and PRETTIE BOI PRESENTS star EDDIE LOCKWOOD will twirl fabric like Stevie Nicks en fuego. Drag Mum GOLDEN BRAID (ALABAMA) made her 1000 STEVIES debut in the mid-oughts with an old-school lip-synch and has returned several times since. From the NYC NOTS pantheon, beloved actress and chanteuse HEATHER LITTEER will perform a special tribute to CHRISTINE MCVIE.

Longtime 1000 STEVIES DJ SAMMY JO will be spinning the all- Stevie/Fleetwood dancefloor while “Enchantresses of Ceremony” EDITRIX ABBY (HEKATE NYC), Litteer, and Valenti will be keeping the white winged talent flowing. The show will climax with the iconic “Battle of A Thousand Stevies” finale and tambourines will be tossed to our Enchanted audience through the night.

Previous New Orleans editions were performance-rich and attended by costumed show fans from all over plus a marvelously mixed local crowd. Not too surprising for a magical municipality that producers call “the most Stevie city in America”.

SUGGESTED DRESS: Southern Gothic a la Stevie Nicks, Like A White Winged Dove, Beribboned and Bedecked Tambourines, Enchanted Eveningwear, Welsh Witch vs Mayfair Witch (Dark Ages to Darkwave), Nightbird Capes, Decatur Street Chiffonhead, Fringed Shawls, Stevie-adorned Top hats, Fleetwood “The Dance” classic menswear, Vampire Velvets, Best Hair In Rock And Roll or Total Stevie Realness (All Eras)

NOTS NOLA is a perfect excuse for our NYC performers and audience members to visit New Orleans at one of the best times of year. Longtime attendees of the show love the early NOTS feel of the more intimate 300-400 person crowd, all dressed in their best Stevie finery. We enjoy having another show that is much closer for our Midwestern and Southern Legends of Stevie Realness to take the NOTS stage. Like NOTS itself, our new venue THE HOWLIN’ WOLF has a long, fascinating history, studded with local stars and distinguished visitors.

Big thanks to the New Orleans NOTS family, our friends at ONE EYED JACKS PRESENTS and thanks in advance to our new friends at THE HOWLIN’ WOLF. We look forward to twirling with you again this Fall!
